Friday home schooling with Try Arts

This session the young people were painting pebbles that were collected from Staithes harbour nr. Witby North Yorkshire. firstly they designed on paper based on a pebble shapes chosen by the young people. Then they transfered their designs on to the pebbles and then painted them in acrylics.

Home School @ Try Arts

Home School at Try Arts, Leeds. This is the Friday morning Home Schooling group session where the young students are working on drawing a side profile portrait of Tutankharmun's Death Mask which is made from solid gold. (referenced from Ancient Egypt Art and Archaeology in the Land of the Pharaohs book.

 This is the group in discussion, learning about the words portrait and landscapes and the various meanings for the words. also we talked about composition when talking a drawing or taking a photograph like the reference they were about to engage with.

 This is (T) working on his pencil drawing of Tutankharmun.

 (E) painting a sculpture with Acrylic paint, of which he had made of Jedi Master Yoda the previous week using clay

(S) has also finished painting his Smurf Pencil pot which was made using clay previously.

This is (D) working on her illustration using a pencil and Pigment liner this drawing was done using reference from the book Super Cute Chibis to draw and paint.

(S.J.E.Y) Working on my rough sketch for my graffiti record design, I Am using pencil and felt tips first.

This is me choosing  my record and copying my design on to the record in pencil

I decided to paint my design on the other side of the record which was not pre painted and did this by using pencil and then adding colour using Posca paint pens.
